Couldn’t recommend this place more. Go here. Do the coffee plantation tour. Have lunch. I learnt so much about coffee, the place. The guiding was fantastic, as was the food. A must do !

We were in Huatulco for 2 weeks and had rented a car. We decided to try this place based on the google reviews. We stopped in the shop and were sent to the plantation down the road by baby taxi (included in the price). Pablo, the son of the plantation owner, was our guide. His English was excellent and being trained in tropical agriculture we were impressed with his knowledge and ability to share it in English. We returned to the shop to finish the tour and then were served coffee. We sat around a table with Pablo's parents and the local doctor. It was truly the highlight of our 2 week holiday.

Had a great coffee tour here! We just dropped in, and they took us to their coffee plantation by moto taxi, where we had a tour with a really nice guide and had a chance to pick coffee fruits and do some of the processing. And then coffee tasting with snacks back at the shop! The hosts were really lovely and welcoming. The tour costed just 100mxn per person, and was in Spanish, though they said at other times English may also be possible.

Pablo guided our tour of the plantation - very knowledgeable, charismatic and excited to educate us on a broad range of things. I can't recommend booking a tour enough, I'm very into specialty coffee but I think it has a lot to offer even for someone who just drinks their morning cup. There are plenty of other plants, fruits, flowers etc showcasing the magnificent biodiversity of the plantation. Plus the views are amazing. We got to taste some creme de mezcal and sopes for lunch. shoutout to latte

What a day to remember! From start to finish, Pablo and his family made us feel right at home. We learned heaps about coffee’s history in the area (they’re 4th generation farmers) and we saw the entire process from cultivation to roasting. The beans are phenomenal too. We got the medium roast and have been making it in our hotel coffee maker.. usually we are not fans of drip coffee — but the roast is so powerful and expressive that it transforms drip into something truly remarkable! Pablo’s mom also made us a delicious lunch which we were blown away by. She’s a fantastic chef! All in all, we would recommend this to anybody who drinks (or has ever drank) coffee. It’s a phenomenal opportunity to understand the painstaking process, and the labour of love, that it takes to make 1 single cup. Thank you for such a wonderful experience! (And… Special shout out to their new puppy, Latté, who I couldn’t keep my eyes off of!!)
